What Is My GEPF Password

Have you forgotten your GEPF Password? Don’t worry, This guide will thread you through the simple way to retrieve or reset your password ensuring seamless access to your pension fund information.

Steps On How To Recover Your Password

Option 1: Online Password Recovery

  • Visit the official website of GEPF
  • Click on Member Self-Sevice
  • Select Forgotten password
  • Enter your(ID number, Date of birth, email address registered with GEPF
  • Click on ”Submit”
  • Follow the prompts to reset the password

Option 2: Phone Password Recovery

  • Call the GEPF call centre on (08 011 7669)
  • Select language option
  • Choose password recovery(ID number, Date of Birth, Email address registered with GEPF)
  • Follow verbal instructions to reset the password

Option 3: Email Password Recovery

  • Send an email to mailito:contactcentre@gepf.co.za
  • Subject: Password recovery
  • Provide(ID number, Date of Birth, Email address registered with GEPF)
  • Receive password reset instructions via Email

Option 4: In-Person Password Recovery

  • Visit the nearest GEPF Regional Office
  • Bring along your ID document, Proof of registration(Payslip or employment letter
  • Meet with a GEPF representative
  • Request password reset assistance

Percentage Contributed By Employers to Employees Who Have Registered Under GEPF

The employer currently contributes 16% of pensionable salary to service members and 13% to other members, reflecting the difference in the benefits structure of these two categories of members. All members of the Fund contribute at a rate of 7.5% of pensionable salary.
