How Do I Register For GEPF Self-Service Online?

GEPF Self-Service Online is an online platform offered by the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) that helps members access important services and information about their pension easily. The portal is designed to make it simple for members to get the details they need and manage their pension without any hassle. The self-service portal can be accessed anywhere and anytime provided you have internet access and are registered on the portal.

To use the self-service portal, members need to register online for the service. To register for Self-Service. Members, Pensioners and Beneficiaries are required to sign up for the service using their valid SA Identification Document or Foreign Passport, cell phone number and a valid e-mail address.

How To Register For GEPF Self-Service Online

Follow the steps below to register online for Government Employees Pension Fund self-service;

  • Visit the GEPF website and navigate to the self-service section
  • click on “Register” or “Sign up” to create an account
  • Enter your personal information ( full name, ID number and contact details)
  • choose a username and password for your account.
  • click on register or submit

Requirements To Register Online For GEPF Self-Service

The following are required to register for GEPF online self-service;

  • SURNAME
  • ID NUMBER
  • PENSION NUMBER
  • CELL NUMBER
  • EMAIL ADDRESS
  • RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS
  • POSTAL ADDRESS
  • MEMBERSHIP TYPE

How To Reset Your GEPF Self-Service Password

Your password might be rejected if it doesn’t meet the required rules, like being too short or missing special characters or numbers. If you forget your password, follow the steps below to reset;

  • Visit the self-service portal
  • simply click the “Forgot Password” button on the login screen
  • Reset it with a new password.

NOTE:

  • Your password must have a minimum of eight characters.
  • a minimum of one uppercase(A-Z)
  • Minimum of one digit(0-9)
  • Minimum of one special character
